Annual conference 2010

The annual conference of the National Association for Hospice at Home was held at Camden Lock, London 15th September. It attracted members from all over the UK,   Ireland and also Portugal. The theme was

"Pushing the boundaries of Hospice at Home Practice - what  can hospice at home models achieve ?"

This was one of the themes of last years conference and remained of interest this year. We had tried to understand the range of Hospice at Home services being provided and then delegates were asked to vote for the service their own service was most alike, the results of which can seen below.

What are the Core Components that will help define Hospice at Home?

Chairman, Sue Varvel presented the research that was submitted towards a Masters degree in Hospice Leadership, Sue aimed to identify the core elements of Hospice at Home and then use the outcomes to define a model of Hospice at Home.
